Houston constructing collapse kills 3 development employees, injures 1

Three people today died and a fourth was hurt Monday right after a 15-tale making under design collapsed in West Houston.

The stairwell collapsed, documented KHOU-Television set, citing the Houston Hearth Department.

All of the 240 construction personnel at the web-site had been accounted for, KHOU documented, and the stairwell collapse was currently being investigated.

The accident happened at about 1:30 p.m., in accordance to studies.

The developing was to be the headquarters of Marathon Oil, the Houston Chronicle claimed.

Though firefighters have been on the scene, the setting up was far too unstable to enter, Assistant Hearth Chief Ruy Lozano instructed KTRK-Television.

A watch from over showed the evident collapse of section of the next flooring into the 1st floor, KPRC-Television set described. A employee advised the station he’d been on the ground floor when it happened and that several flooring of a stairwell seemed to have collapsed.

“Out of nowhere, I hear a loud banging sound,” the employee informed KPRC. “It sounded like a developing was collapsing, which, I checked out, it didn’t occur, but all I saw was the parking constructing … we’re quite close to the parking setting up. All you see is a bunch of smoke.”
